Our Vision

By identifying young people in target areas that is prone to crime, gun and gang violence, our goal is to go out into these communities and essentially connect with the youth.    “Meet them where they are at” is our philosophy, one that is rooted in the original intent of The Black Spades principles and ideologies—one of the oldest gangs in NYC and the Bronx.  Not only will this have an impact in that community, but it will also help build character and expand young people’s vision on what they are able to achieve and essentially increase their personal capacity for leadership.

“there is in this world no such forces as the force of a person determined to rise.

the human soul cannot be permanently chained”

Annual Month of Giving

US Attorney Merrick Garland has vowed to “investigate and disrupt the networks that channel crime and guns into our communities with tragic consequences”.

TBSND believes that in order to effectively accomplish this it must be a shared, collective effort and commitment comprised of community leaders, politicians, police and former gang members to keep our communities safe.”

Our goal is to “re-direct” the youth in a “new direction”. With your help we can collectively achieve complete, constructive, behavioral change in the youth and the community at large.
